This document sets out the terms governing participation in the Khanya Life Phase 1 Pilot Seller Programme.
By replying “I AGREE” via WhatsApp, completing the onboarding process, and purchasing starter stock, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
1. Pilot Programme
1.1 This is a limited pilot programme operated by Khanya Life.
1.2 Participation is restricted to a maximum of 50 confirmed sellers within the Soweto pilot node.
1.3 The purpose of this pilot is to test the Khanya Life reseller model and gather insights for future phases.
1.4 Khanya Life reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate the pilot programme at any time.
1.5 Participation in this pilot does not guarantee future participation or allocation in later phases.
1.6 Stock availability during the pilot is limited and will be allocated on a first-paid basis.
2. Eligibility
By participating you confirm that:
• You are 18 years of age or older • You hold a valid South African ID
• You have an active WhatsApp number • You currently reside within the Soweto pilot node • You are participating voluntarily and independently
Khanya Life reserves the right to verify participant eligibility.
3. Starter Pack Purchase
3.1 Participation in the pilot requires the purchase of a starter stock pack.
3.2 Starter packs must be purchased via the official Khanya Life payment link or approved payment method.
3.3 Stock will only be released once payment has been successfully confirmed.
3.4 Starter packs are non-refundable once collected.
3.5 Responsibility for the stock transfers to the seller upon collection or delivery.
3.6 Khanya Life is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged stock after handover
4. Pricing and Sales Conduct
4.1 The recommended selling price is:
• R15 per sachet • R150 per pouch
4.2 Sellers agree not to undercut other sellers within the pilot node.
4.3 Sellers agree to represent the brand professionally and respectfully.
4.4 Sellers may not make false or misleading health, medical, or performance claims about Khanya Life products.
4.5 Khanya Life reserves the right to suspend or remove sellers who engage in:
• undercutting pricing • misrepresentation of products
• dishonest behaviour • conduct damaging to the brand
5. Territory
5.1 This pilot programme applies only to the Soweto pilot node.
5.2 Sellers may not distribute outside this node without written approval from Khanya Life.
6. Product Handling
Sellers agree that:
• Products must be stored and handled responsibly • Products must not be tampered with, altered, or repackaged • Products must be sold in their original packaging
Khanya Life is not responsible for product issues arising from improper handling after distribution.
7. Reporting and Performance
7.1 Sellers agree to participate in weekly pilot check-ins where requested.
7.2 Sellers agree to provide honest feedback and reporting when requested.
7.3 Performance may be evaluated using the following indicators:
• Sell-through speed • Reorder behaviour • Participation in reporting • Professional conduct
7.4 Continued participation in future phases may depend on performance during the pilot.
8. Rewards and Recognition
8.1 Khanya Life may offer performance-based rewards or incentives during the pilot.
8.2 Such rewards are discretionary and based on internal performance criteria.
8.3 Rewards do not constitute employment, partnership, profit-sharing, or equity rights.
9. Social Media and Content
9.1 Sellers are encouraged to share their entrepreneurship journey and product experience on social media.
9.2 Sellers must ensure that any content shared is truthful and responsible.
9.3 Sellers may not:
• make unrealistic income claims • present themselves as official employees of Khanya Life • make medical or health claims about the product
9.4 Sellers grant Khanya Life permission to repost publicly shared content relating to the pilot programme.
9.5 Khanya Life may request the removal of content that misrepresents the brand or product.
10. Brand Use
10.1 Khanya Life branding, logos, and imagery may only be used for promoting approved products.
10.2 Brand assets may not be modified or altered.
10.3 Unauthorized use of brand assets may result in removal from the pilot programme.
11. Cash and Sales Responsibility
11.1 Sellers are responsible for managing their own customer payments and sales proceeds.
11.2 Khanya Life is not responsible for cash losses, theft, or disputes between sellers and customers.
12. Data and POPIA Compliance
12.1 Personal information collected during the pilot will be stored in Zoho CRM for programme management.
12.2 Information will be used only for:
• pilot management • operational communication • programme evaluation
12.3 Personal information will not be sold or shared outside operational partners.
12.4 By participating, you consent to communication via WhatsApp and other operational channels.
13. Independent Participation
Participation in this pilot does not create:
• employment • agency • partnership • joint venture
Sellers operate independently.
14. Conduct and Removal
Khanya Life reserves the right to remove Khanya Life reserves the right to remove participants from the pilot for:
• dishonesty • harassment • fraudulent behaviour • brand damage • repeated violation of pricing or conduct rules
15. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from participation will first be addressed through good-faith discussion with Khanya Life.
If unresolved, disputes will be governed under South African law.
